CDWG Technology Catalog

CDWG was the responsive, responsible bid winner for a solicitation seeking a general technology catalog with a minimum of 100,000 items. CDWG’s bid surpassed minimum specifications. Its bid identified 3,160 product-line brands available in its comprehensive online catalog representing thousands and thousands of products.

A request for bids was issued by Monterey County Office of Education to 2,148 vendors listed in its pool of suppliers in the technology category. Bidding followed procedures in the California Public Contract Code, and also asserted authorities from the Education Code and Government Code. Sealed bids were received and read aloud January 12, 2016. MCOE was the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder. MCOE awarded a purchasing contract good through December 31, 2018. The contract award is piggybackable and can be used by school districts, community colleges, charter schools, JPAs, cities, counties and other government agencies. Pricing is based on a catalog discount by specific product-line brand.
