The MNJ Technologies contract offers access to cutting-edge technology that is cost effective and project specific. Bid as a catalog contract, the CalSave award to MNJ benefits buyers with lower costs of acquisition. It enables buyers to shop, configure, mix and match items from a single source on a single purchase order.
The low-price bidder, MNJ won its award through a competitive solicitation of sealed bids coordinated by the Association of Educational Purchasing Agencies. In that process, 26 statewide, education, purchasing cooperatives leveraged their demand in a national invitation to bid. Winning bids were locally and individually awarded by the Monterey County Office of Education.
MNJ Technologies offers access to more than 400,000 products in its online catalog: desktop computers, notebooks, printers, servers, storage devices, and software from a wide variety of manufacturers. Buyers will recognize major brands such as Cisco, Hewlett-Packard, Microsoft, Sony, Symantec, IBM, Juniper, Xerox, Toshiba, Dell and many others.
MNJ backs up its sales with an involved sales rep, service, certifications, and qualified technicians. The AEPA and MCOE terms and conditions further protect buyers who buy through the CalSave purchasing cooperative. In addition, MNJ Technologies uses more than 40 distribution facilities nationwide to deliver products timely and efficiently.

MNJ Technologies Direct opened its doors in 2002 when Susan Kozak returned to the computer industry with a new business model in mind. Susan’s ten years of experience in the computer industry showed her what worked and where vast improvements could be made. - Orders can be submitted to MNJ Technologies via the CalSAVE/MNJ portal
- Orders are also accepted directly by fax at (847) 876-5677.
- Quotes and consultation can be obtained at (800) 870-4340 and asking for a CalSAVE account manager.
- MNJ Technologies accepts P-Cards and Purchase Orders.
- Purchase Orders must include Bill-To, Ship-To, Purchase Order Number, MFG or MNJ Part Number, Quantity, Description of Product, CalSAVE Contract Cost, and applicable taxes.
Option to Send to CalSave
While MNJ will accept orders directly, CalSave offers buyers the option of receiving your PO on vendor’s behalf and then forwarding it to the vendor.
The benefits of sending your PO to CalSave are reviewing the PO for lowest price, archiving, auditing, and verification of bid protection.
To use this option, make your PO out to the vendor and fax your PO to CalSAVE at (866) 488-3729. Any P.O. made out to CalSave as the vendor will be returned for correction.
