California schools can save on Microsoft Academic Select software programs and upgrades through CalSAVE and a statewide master software agreement under the auspices of the Monterey County Office of Education (MCOE).

School districts using the MCOE/CalSAVE contract are eligible to purchase software at the deepest offered discount and to participate in webinars and special programs offered through PC Mall and Microsoft.
Order Requirements & Instructions
Eligible agencies must have a separate secondary enrollment form on file with CalSAVE and PC Mall before any Microsoft orders are filled. Monterey County Office of Education holds the primary enrollment and master agreement. Buying agencies have their own secondary enrollment. After the form is completed by the buying agency, CalSAVE will file the enrollment with Microsoft on the agency’s behalf, thereby simplifying the ordering process for the school district. Under the Microsoft agreement, school districts have the flexibility to purchase as many select licenses as needed at one low price. Licenses do not include a CD or physical media. (Media may be ordered as an extra charge.) All orders must include the contact person’s complete name and e-mail address.
PC Mall Gov has a dedicated Account Team in place to support the MCOE and its members. Sales managers, account executives and product specialists will to respond to your inquiries, provide guidance, and are responsible to provide overall customer satisfaction.
PC Mall currently accepts inquiries including requests for quote and orders via phone, e-mail, fax and e-procurement portals. PCMG provides a toll-free phone number, which is available to the CALSAVE customers Monday through Friday 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM PST.

Obtaining Licenses
After submitting a purchase order, PC Mall will respond with either a fax or an e-mail with your license documentation and any follow-up instructions.
Eligible School Districts
All California school districts, county offices of education and charter schools are eligible to participate in the program and may purchase off of the Monterey County Office of Education master agreement. Community colleges are not eligible. Local municipal governments are not eligible.
